My friend Rob and I went to Santa Cruz yesterday and had a nice walk about town. I really miss Santa Cruz sometimes. I lived there from 94-96, a time divided into two of the many episodes that comprise the narrative of my life so far. Was life so episodic before television taught us what an episode is?

As for Santa Cruz, this bumper sticker I saw recently says it all - "Keep Santa Cruz weird"! I second that :-)
