What on earth has happened to poor Viktor Yushchenko? Ukraine's opposition leader has undergone a shocking transformation over the past six months. For those unaware of such matters, Ukraine is embroiled in an election scandal that pits one half the country against the other and the potential for wide-scale civil unrest just around the corner.
Five months ago, the opposition leader, handsome Viktor Yushchenko checked into a Viennesse hospital, and amid claims of poisoning emerged a changed and changing man. Look at this before/after comparison:

His face is now colorless, pockmarked, and paralyzed, and his hair is almost entirely gray. His once angular nose is now flat and bulbous. It's as though his whole face is losing its structure. Austrian doctors couldn't confirm poisoning, and haven't ruled out stress, rosacea, or some other viral infection.
