No, that's not the new Robert Ludlum bestseller, it's a reality of life with Simba now. It looks like this:



He doesn't like it, not one bit. And even in his weakened condition, he's strong. But eventually he takes the medicine. I think he's probably figured out it's for his own good.

    Be sure to check for fungal infection. These can take a long time to clear up and can threaten the cat's life if untreated.

    If its a regular (bacterial) absess, try putting neosporin ointment (regular people drugstore) on the wound twice a day. Provide Simba with a warm, quiet place (a box with some towells and a heating pad) to rest.
