But hey, I've been selling more shirts! :-)
What's happened in the week I've been outta commission?
- The Austrailian reports the Asian earthquake and tsunami death toll is at 280,000. That's over a quarter of a million people.
- Barbara Boxer rhetorically spanked Condoleezza Rice at her confirmation hearings after Dianne Feinstein introduced the Secretary-Designate in embarassingly glowing terms. BaBo: 1 / DiFi: -2
- They coronated Dubya again. Four more years.
- They finally swore Viktor Yuschenko in as President of Ukraine
- In Insane, Scary-Ass, Unrelated Chain of Apocalyptic Events news, the northeast was blasted with a cold snap, then buried under several feet of snow. They're still looking for Rhode Island.
- More bombings and horror in Iraq in the run-up to the much-touted interim elections. Iraqi Primi Minister Allawi's late-in-the-game admission that security was not guaranteeable is our "No Shit Sherlock Statement of the Obvious" for January.
- Johnny Carson died.
But hey, I've been selling more shirts! :-)
