My first lust

There's my mom and I at the Nicholas George Southgate Theater in Southgate, Michigan, about halfway down, aisle seat. We are watching The NeverEnding Story. My mom sits quietly to my left, unaware that I am utterly smitten for Atreyu, the plains boy sent on a quest to find the AURYN. It felt strange, I couldn't look away. He was beautiful, even if he was a little older than I was.
I wanted to be Bastian more than anything. I wanted to fly away with Atreyu to Fantasia and never come back.
At the time, I didn't even know enough to call the feelings I had "gay," they just were. Here was the most beautiful boy I'd ever seen (I'd never watched Battlestar Galactica, so I missed the Boxey boat). I crushed on him for years. I was even one of the few people that saw Troll in the theatre, because Noah Hathaway was in it. In fact, Noah Hathaway was the original Harry Potter.
Hathaway would have been around 15 when he made Troll, and it was around that time when he posed for an extremely gay photographer (who might've worked for Nike, given the rampant product placement). I don't know if Noah knew what he was doing, but, um, "working it" is gross understatement.

Just look at those shorts, for the love of God. Were shorts really that tight back then, or was he wearing girls' shorts three sizes too tight? The fly is practically bursting with pubescence. :-D

Okay, so he has no ass. Since you can make out every crease, crack, and crevasse, it hardly matters.

'nuff said.
These days Noah is rumored to be running a high-end motorcycle shop in Miami after several years in California and New York. Here he is in 2003:

Yeah, I'd still do 'im. He has a dragon on his arm. :-)

Man I thought I was the only one that noticed this! I was born in '75 and saw this movie as a kid growing up too. I used to play in the front of the house imagining that one day Atreyu would pass by in his limosine! Lol, funny stuff.
Heh, didn't know I could leave my name there. I was the poster of the previous comment.
