You Love It
Check out this graphic that came along with Microsoft's email inviting me to download the RC1 of Windows Vista. "The pleasure of testing?" Talk about redefining the message. Microsoft releases - late - so many shoddy products that the public has essentially become Microsoft's QA lab. I expect Microsoft to understand and note this fact in house, but I guess only in George W. Bush's America would they actually try to convince the public that weekly patches, involuntary spyware and 'feedback', and undelivered features are actually their opportunity to experience the joy of being a geeky labrat.
Look at the picture and tell me if you think any owner of a lab with that level of interior decoration and styling wouln't commit to hardware and software of equal style? Or look further - d0es the image of a richly-appointed technician pulling something over the eyes of the dummy he's strangling unwittingly tell more truth than it should?
