Adobe Gone Wrong:
Quirky Screaming Demon Baby
So I've come across another professional graphic today so egregious I can officially dub this another occasion of Adobe Gone Wrong. I call it the Quirky Screaming Demon Baby because I can't think of any name more descriptive. It's the banner graphic for "Quirky News" on the
website for KATU in Portland, Oregon.
What revolting vision from Hell is this?! It has nothing to do with the story "Man strips naked at airport and heads for plane's wheel well," but it even shows up on their "
printer friendly version" of the story. Which brings up some interesting questions:
- What is happeneing to this child?
- What graphic designer would Photoshop an unattractive photo into a sick Paas-colored triptych of abject horror?
- Why would an editor in Portland think it "quirky," let alone run it next to a story of a man stripping naked and grounding a Quantas flight by pigeonholding in a wheel well?
- What the fuck?!
