Simba update

So Micah's coming by later and we're going to take Simba to the vet tonight at 6.30.

He's not getting better, and he seems weaker now. I'm trying not to be too nervous, but it's not working. I've seen Simba sick before, I've seen him in a cast, and I've seen him lose weight, but I've never seen him look frail. And that's scary.

The rash on his face is spreading, and the inside of his nose looks like it's turning black. It's reminiscent of his old case of feline acne, which he had pretty badly on his chin. Whatever this is, it clearly hurts him if I touch it, and he guides my hand to scritch under his chin or down his back instead, which feels emaciated.

He's still up and about though, and went outside a little bit ago. So don't get the impression he's on his death bed or anything. I'm probably making it sound worse than it is.

I'll keep ya posted.

Speechless

The Reverend Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Churchs, he of 'God Hates Fags' fame, has released a press release in praise to God for unleashing the tsunami that killed approximately 2,000 Swedes in Thailand. It doesn't get much lower than this.
