Weapons of mass seduction
Our man at the Pentagon, Don Dorsey, brings to our attention this shocking story from NewScientist.com that reveals "the development of an 'aphrodisiac' chemical weapon that would make enemy soldiers sexually irresistible to each other. Provoking widespread homosexual behaviour among troops would cause a 'distasteful but completely non-lethal' blow to morale, the proposal says," presumedly with no pun intended.
The chemical, likely to have been dubbed "Agent Pink" if it had been adopted, was never developed and the project was abandoned. As for reasons why, the Pentagon didn't tell, and NewScientist.com didn't ask.
One can only imagine the fun at Abu Grahib if they'd partied with this Love Potion 69.
